Added test coverage reporting for gitlab.

Pocl GPU support is experimental right now, so removing it from the tests and leaving only the pocl CPU tests.

Set up each test variation to exit with an error if it cant detect a GPU or if it expect not GPU and detects one.

updated changelog to reflect dependency updates.

Had to rebase away garys recent bug fix due to not squashing, this adds his fix back (thought sadly now he wont get credit in the commit log).
