* convert strange line endings to LF
* add exceptions for doc/Neuron.gif|.vsd, as they are large files

Note:
Someone on windows should convert "doc/Neuron.vsd"
(MS Visio binary file) to ".uxf" (UML eXchange Format),
and replace the corresponding ".gif" with a ".svg".
It seems not to be possible on Linux.
